Apparently, some genius (and I use that term *very* loosely) decided it would be HILARIOUS (spoiler alert: it’s not) to create a deepfake of Bobbi Althoff…you know…doing stuff. The stuff you don’t wanna think about your favorite podcast host doing. And yeah, it involved…well, you can probably guess.
What’s messed up is how quickly this stuff spreads. Like wildfire, man. One minute you’re minding your own business, scrolling through TikTok, and BAM! There it is. Lurking. Waiting to ruin your day. And I bet a whole bunch of people just *ate it up*, you know? Thinking it’s real. Which is just…blegh.
Bobbi herself had to come out and say it was fake. Can you imagine having to do that? Like, “Hey, everyone, just so you know, that’s not me pleasuring myself in that video. It’s a computer-generated version of me. Cool?” How awkward is that?
I think what really gets me is the sheer audacity of some people. To take someone’s likeness, someone’s image, and just…twist it into something like that? It’s not just a little prank; it’s straight-up disrespectful and kinda terrifying. Where does it end? Soon, how will people even know what’s real and what isn’t? It’s like a freaking Black Mirror episode come to life.
And then there’s the whole thing about these “AdultDeepFakes.com” websites. Seriously? Who are these people? Are they, like, proud of this stuff? Do they actually think this is some kind of artistic expression? ‘Cause last time I checked, exploiting someone’s image without their consent wasn’t exactly Picasso-level genius.
